Sunshine Studios is a community studio, open to artists of all ages, experiences and abilities.Located at Conant Avenue and Wayne Street, its mission is to offer a place for the entire community to create. It offers affordable public classes, studio time, and space for meetings, parties and other gatherings.
On weekdays, Sunshine Studios offers art by local painters, photographers, jewelry-makers and others, and it employs more than a dozen men and women with developmental disabilities who work in textiles, clay and other art. Creations are on display and on sale Monday through Saturday, illuminating the talents and gifts of men and women of all abilities and providing unique items for the home and garden.
